Reasonably priced and delicious. Crowd can be sketchy but service was honest and friendly.
CITY KEBABS mmmm! Love love loveeeeeeeeeeee this place! It just so happens it is right next door to my favorite club/bar Amps. I believe City Kebabs is a
Bad service and pricey but in terms of taste this is a gem! I walked pass by this store plenty time but eventually decided to give it a shot and man oh man their doner kebab with satay and sweet chilli sauce literally blew my tastebud! Amazing, thick and juicy lamb & beef meat! Pricey because you paid $11 for a standard size kebab with meats, lettuce, onion, and tomato. $13 if you add egg and cheese. That's it. Bad service because I said I want the doner kebab, full stop, not with egg or cheese. And only after I paid via paypass and waited for a while I realised that I was charged $13 instead of $11. So I asked $13 was with cheese and egg right? He said yes of course. I bought for takeaway and when I reached my table and I ate the kebab: there was no cheese! No cheese!! Nevertheless, despite that, I have to admit that it is one hell of a tasty kebab. So here's the breakdown of my rating 4 for tastiness, minus 0.5 for bad service and taking my $2, minus 0.5 for value for money.
Chips were crispy hot and salty, which is exactly what you want. The kebab was large and generous, however, the meat was majority the crispier slightly drier bits and not the plump juicy pieces of chicken. I got garlic sauce and I felt like there was no garlic taste at all. It tasted like mint sauce and it overpowered the kebab. The staff are really upbeat which is nice to see!
