When we arrived we were greeted with b... read more Stopped in for a drink with a group of workmates. In these COVID times everywhere is being super clean- except Bob's Bar. When we arrived we were greeted with booze and filth stained seat cushions and filthy tables. Next the waitress behind the bar is...seen sticking a knife into a jar of cherries and locking it repeatedly. We carried on as we were in a group and were once again shocked when the same waitress repeatedly stuck a knife in a cocktail to taste as she mixed it. This place is disgusting yet occupies a prime location.

It is a roof top bar so you need to know t... read more We found this craft ale bar just off St.George’s Terrace, it was a Friday night so was really busy and had a live DJ. It is a roof top bar so you need to know that to get to the bar you need to navigate...stairs almost within the other pub on the ground level the Printhall. They had a good selection of beers averagely priced around the AUD per pint. We did not try the food as we were only in for a beer. Loud music but little atmosphere.

Great views overlooking the city, with a fantastic atmosphere. Nice cocktails and very good service. Bob's best rooftop bar in Perth and my favourite spot for an end of week beverage. While other bars are packed to the rafters, and everyone needing to lip read or fake it, this place was busy in a good way. No pretensions, friendly staff and not a tie in sight despite the ultra conservative offices on either side.

We wanted something in the sun to make the most of the cracking spring weather we were having and decided (rather randomly) to pop up to Bob's Bar. <br/ <br/ Well, we certainly got our sun. And we also got a great guy (with beard) behind the bar who was super accommodating, recommending some refreshingly tasty ciders and then giving us a handy rundown of their new menu. We ended up ordering the corn bread with maple butter (yummmmmm), deep fried chicken (we went back and ordered more of this), chorizo and prawn risotto something (good kick of chilli), and then some cinnamon donut style dessert with a rum/vanilla dipping sauce (oh God, this was out of control good). <br/ <br/ All of this while kicking back on the rooftop in the CBD as window cleaners abseiled down the highrise building above us. It was the perfect chilled pitstop and would've certainly stayed on for the DJ if we didn't have to return to reality and pick up our toddler from his grandparents!<br/ <br/ Thanks for making our arvo, Bob!
