Where else in Australia can you enjoy Italian cuisine surrounded by Native American-themed decor and a reggae soundtrack? The atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming. While the service may not be fine dining, the food is delicious and served with a touch of charm. The staff is incredibly friendly and treats guests like family. The portion sizes are generous, the food is high-quality and served hot. The only downside is that the tiramisu is not always available, but when it is, it is worth the wait. I have been to this restaurant multiple times and have never been disappointed. I recently made a reservation for tomorrow night and was thrilled that the owner remembered me after not visiting for a year. This personal touch is what sets this restaurant apart. I highly recommend dining here for a unique and memorable experience.

Initially, the restaurant seemed a bit chaotic and hectic. We waited a bit for our order to be taken and it took longer than we anticipated. However, the food was incredible. Some may consider it pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The portions were huge and delicious, served in a cozy atmosphere. The only thing I would suggest is removing the smoking section. Overall, a great place! I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating.

The waitress appeared to be annoyed that we had come in for dinner, and they even seemed eager to close early. Both the waitress and the chef gave me dirty looks. I ordered a meal without an ingredient that I'm allergic to, and was assured it would be fine. However, when the dish arrived, it still contained the allergen. I had to pay a high price for a meal that I couldn't even eat. I will never be going back there again. I recommend better service and accurate orders at HJ's on the Road.

We arrived and was greeted by the pleasant waitress and was offered a seat inside or out we choose a seat outside as the incense was a bit strong. The food was generous and hot I had the Parma which was massive and the salad and chips were fresh and the chips crisp its a shame there was so much cheese layered on top of the deep fried chicken snitz but I guess that's how people like it not me though. The entrée was cheesy garlic bread which was an additional $6 from standard garlic bread and had more cheese than bread and was a gooey sloppy mess sorry not what I was expecting. My wife ordered the pesto pasta which I quite liked good flavour again very hot and very generous servings. Overall very good service, average venue (could be great) and very average food, I wish small places like this would just do a few really fresh creative dishes cooked well and you didn't feel like you had drunk a bottle of oil with your food. They obviously have a following but its just not for me.
