What Aubree Jones doesn't like about Amici on King St:
I came here with a voucher to redeem their burger deal. It's good value for money as the burger is massive and you get chips and a drink. Probably best to come with an empty stomach if you are going to order the burger. View all feedback.
Was greeted by a young lad (mayve Indian) to be told this place had been sold. Upon this he offered me free food as I told him I couldn't have lunch their today coz my ticket was about to expire. What a generous offer by the young lad to prepare me a container of food for me to take away at no charge. God Bless him n I hope he really really does well as thats good old customer service that is hard to find these days. Oh n by the way the food was yummy! God bless u mate for ur kind gesture n I will pray that u do well! Please support this chap n go there.
Great service with a smile No surcharge on cards no minimum They have buffet but so much more they can make on the spot, burgers wraps, vegan options. I have certain allergies/intolerances and like customising my food so I get "that stare" at every cafe. Here Chef even comes out to ensure the food was prepared as I like it. What I had: Custom Veggie Oriental Roti wrap for 5$ and a $3 dollar hazelnut latte Both get a thumbs up! Why didn't I find this place earlier?
$3 coffee and $4.90 with a muffin (mine was filled with caramel!!) before 9:30 - what's not to like. Coffee was rich and creamy. Beautiful pastries and friendly staff.
Well located and friendly little coffee shop on King St serving pleasantly smooth and sweet coffee. They also serve Turkish influenced food and the burek I had was very good indeed...flaky pastry with a well seasoned filling of zucchini and ricotta. perthcafeculture.com.au
I came here with a voucher to redeem their burger deal. It's good value for money as the burger is massive and you get chips and a drink. Probably best to come with an empty stomach if you are going to order the burger. It is probably one of the biggest burgers I have ever eaten. The bun is a turkish bread type bread and toasted slightly on the grill. Meat wise there was a very generous layer of pulled beef, and one layer of bacon. The meat tasted slightly charred which was quite nice. The vegies on the inside ended up fully cooked from the heat of the meat & bun and probably not at their best. The one slice of tomato was fully cooked, and the beetroot had turned brown?! The rocket ended up fully cooked as well...I think this is probably the first time I've ever seen or heard rocket inside a burger. I didn't notice any cheese. As much as it pains me to say this, it's almost as if there was too much meat inside the burger? There wasn't any acidity balance with the burger. A simple relish would have probably fit in nicely. The burger as a whole was a bit greasy and what I would have expected from a kebab shop, not a cafe in the Perth CBD that is also selling super food salads and crepes. Chips were a bit greasy and a little soggy, possibly due to not being dehydrated enough? I'm not sure. The onion rings were crispy but also quite oily.
