Came with a groupon voucher - it was really good value. Service was good even with just one waitress alone. She was prompt and efficient. Food came sporadically but the wait was not too unbearable, there were about 4 -5 tables but I could see there was only about 1 person in the kitchen. The food was below average I'm afraid. The quantity was ok so I feel really bad for saying this. The agadeshi tofu was crunchy but bland and sauce was not great. Sashimi was not good, blood on salmon and they didn't tell us there was no kingfish and just substituted it with more salmon. Sashimi in general was not the freshest but ok. Tempura bento : Karaage chicken was nice and succulent, tempura veg was cut very thick and dipping sauce was the same weird sauce on agedashi tofu. Torched roll was ok not memorable. Would I come here without a Groupon voucher? I'm afraid not.

The menu has a variety of interesting rolls, which drew us to try them. But the food was a bit disappointing. Good value for money especially with a Scoopon deal, however not a place you'll go for if you're after good authentic Japanese food. The staff were all very friendly, though they seemed short-handed and looked like they were in a rush to get the food out quickly to everyone, hence the food seemed carelessly prepared. Lotus chips were also a bit soggy and cold. Sorry, will probably not return.

Ordered: sashimi bento with curry beef, tempura bento with teriyaki chicken and tamago. The food was so-so. Our bentos took ages but even then I got a couple of pieces of raw chicken. The wait was just far too long considering there were a total of 3 tables.

I recently had a lovely dinner at this restaurant using a Groupon. The torched salmon roll was absolutely delicious and stood out as a favorite. The soul tang salad was also very good. The udon dish was beautifully presented, but the broth was a bit too salty for my taste, although my friends enjoyed it. We all agreed that the yakitori was a bit dry. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, I plan to return to try more of the sushi rolls in the future.

We enjoy trying new foods, but today's experience was the worst $20 we have ever spent. We might have understood if there was a wait due to a crowded restaurant, but there were only four of us and we had to wait almost 30 minutes just to be served (and the food wasn't even good). The table service was also slow and when we ordered takeout, the restaurant got our order wrong. Overall, a disappointing dining experience.
