If, like me, you arrive at Perth International, only to find the check in doesn't open for 4 hours then you really only have one choice with The Crafty Swan. Thankfully the staff are friendly and the food and drinks of good at expensive airport prices.$12 for a pint and $20 for Nasi Goreng. $18 for a glass of wine. What User doesn't like about The Crafty Swan Kitchen & Bar:
After taking over half an hour to cook our breakfast, we were the only people in the place at the time, they then proceeded to give it to someone else. When I did get my order my poached eggs were fried, my bacon was cold, I had no butter for my toast, and the cherry tomatoes were a half a truss tomato, but the mushrooms were nice. Although the flight has unlimited free drinks I always like to stop here for a pre flight drink. Unlike most airport bars the Swan does not charge exorbitant prices.
Despite the fact that there are few customers present in the bar. The bartenders pass several times before us without taking our order. no kindness
Delicious milkshake! But a paper straw in a plastic cup kind of defeats the purpose of not using plastic.
On the January we he'd a long time to wait for our plane to take us back home to N.Z. We stopped by The Crafty Swan for coffee a cake. The lady who served us was a Kiwi also knew the...area we lived in. She was lovely chatty we felt less marooned in the airport after our chat. So thanks Kate, keep up the good work.
In typical Perth form..... Very disappointed with the service, or lack of staff. Food was OK but standing in a que for mins for a beer just is not the last thing some one wants to do last thing before leaving Perth. Lid your...game!
