Local diners came here initially in 2019 and really loved it. Returned for a date night; staff was as always kind and polite, but plenty of slips order went in wrong, ordered 12 oysters and only served 6, ordered risotto and was served with added chicken charged of course, water was never refilled etc). The service at the restaurant was friendly but not consistent. It took over 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee, and there appeared to be some confusion among the waitstaff. However, the biggest problem was being charged $2.00 for mayonnaise with the fries without being told about the extra cost. This, along with the total bill exceeding $80 for lunch for two people, was disappointing. Despite these issues, the food was delicious.
The steak was delicious. Very tender. The restaurant was warm and clean. Would go there again.
The staff at The Stone Cellar is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend it for a romantic or intimate dinner.
I strongly recommend this restaurant located in the Perth, ON area. The food is amazing, with a variety of choices on the menu and irresistible desserts. The staff is friendly and attentive. Every dish is tasty, but the standout for me is the meatloaf. Despite its ordinary-sounding name, this meatloaf is a true culinary work of art.
Our lunch was delicious, service was fast and the food was served to perfection!
