Love love love the pizza. Service is always food as well. I hope the seating reductions with the pandemic stay because it is much more enjoyable when it doesn’t feel like you are dining with the next couple tables. We prefer to go on weeknights and a later time because it can get REALLY loud when the place is full. Good beer selection. View all feedback.
What Victoria R doesn't like about 5th Street Pub:
First time here I had the pizza with pepperoni and capicola. Sadly, I did not enjoy it. I'm a fan of this style of pizza, but I found this particular one to be a little bland. It was sort of like an oversized Lunchable. Second time I had the grilled chicken sandwich. It tasted good, but was a bit watery. I could have done without the fries. They were pretty unremarkable and would have been satisfied with chips. Beer... View all feedback.
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and we were looking for a casual spot to have dinner before heading to the hotel. Although it was quite busy, the wait time wasn't too long. The menu was extensive, but once I saw the woodfired oven and the woodfired pizzas, I knew that was what I wanted. I ordered the prosciutto pizza and added anchovies to it. The crust was extraordinary, and the pizza itself was simply perfect. Someone else in my group had the chicken balls, and I got to sample one—they were absolutely delicious! If my pizza hadn't been so satisfying, I definitely would have ordered a side of those. Our server was incredibly attentive and always greeted us with a big smile whenever she came to our table.
We've been here so many times over the past several years living in Perrysburg and it's always great. The locals love it, the food and drinks are tasty and consistent. Happy hour specials are a fantastic deal. The prices are reasonably priced and the place is always clean.
Another great visit here. We were told our wait would be forty five to fifty minutes and it was twenty. We had the Real Deal Margarita and a Ahi Tuna Salad. My wife ate the whole pizza and left me with the salad!!!! She never eats that much, but she loves their pizza. The salad was really good although the Tuna was on the spicy side and I like spicy a lot. It also was a little over priced for the portion size, it was still good though. Our waitress Makenna was outstanding! She took very good care of every table she had and went out of her way for my wife helping deciding which beer to get next because they were out of her fav. She brought a sample of the one my wife chose with out us even asking for her to do so. More businesses need servers like this young lady.
So excited to find this place. Who would've thunk that the best Italian food in the Toledo area was a Pub? I lived in Italy for 4 years and this is my go to Italian food pizza place. The service is always great, everyone is friendly you can't beat the food...especially for the price
I visited on a Monday evening around 5:30 during football season, and the place was about half full. The bar service was excellent. They offer a nice selection of local beers, along with a few premium spirits and standard drinks. The menu has a variety of options but leans heavily toward Italian cuisine. I ordered the margherita pizza (Neapolitan style), and it was spot on! The outer crust was puffy and just slightly crispy, which is exactly how it should be. The bottom crust could have been a bit more charred, but it was still a VERY good pizza overall. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this pub or bring a friend along. The meatballs looked excellent, so I might have to try those next time I’m in the area!
