We had 5 people with celiac disease and were assured that all of the food (except f... read more We used Martin's Catering for catering and bartending services at a wedding. We had 5 people with celiac disease and were assured that all of the food (except for one meal could be made gluten free. We specifically chose this menu and this catering service because of their ability to do gluten free. Unfortunately, whoever made the food was not informed of the food needing to be gluten free and at least one food item was made with gluten. Of course, we only found out after people with Celiac disease ate food with gluten. They later became ill from the food. We were able to get the bill reduced (but only about $80 . We also hired the bartender and we're informed by the owner (I believe her name is Amy? that the bartender had a flat rate of $100 for the entire event (plus any additional tips . The day of the wedding, Amy texted me and said that the bartender's rate was actually $50/hour. As we had hired her for five hours, it would cost $250, more than twice the agreed rate. We brought this up with Amy (see texts below and the final rate was $175. We were not happy. It's unprofessional to message 5 hours before the wedding and raise the price so significantly. Amy apologized, but it felt like a bait and switch. There was no time to get another bartender, so we felt stuck with the nearly doubled rate. The bartender (Devon , however, was absolutely phenomenal. We had no idea about what specialty drinks to make and she was wonderful with texting us before the wedding and helping us come up with drinks. We loved Devon and would absolutely work with her again. It's just unfortunate that we would have to go through Martin's Catering, which is not something we'd like to do. The only reason we are giving even 1 star is because of Devon being wonderful to work with.

Amy waitresses at my hous... read more All I can say is wow wow wow. Amy and Martin knocked it out of the park for my son's wedding this past weekend at Yinzer Valley Farms. Amy waitresses at my house the day before for the rehearsal and welcome party and she was a complete professional... friendly and helpful in every way. The next day was the wedding and Amy worked the wedding and Martin prepared the delicious food. The food was so good. All of the guests were raving abolitionist the home cooked nature of all the food. It was wonderful. This is a small family business and I highly recommend them over big catering companies. Their prices are extremely reasonable and their menu choices are very extensive. Thank you Amy and Martin for a wonderful experience!!! You will be our go to caterer in the future .

We met with them to do a tasting and not only is the food amazing they are too! From picking our menu to changing our minds... to the day of our wedding- I did not worry one bit about the food. They arrived and set up on time and the food was absolutely AMAZING!!! I think people were ready to fist fight for the last pieces of chicken florentine!!!!! I had so many guests ask where the food was from. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! We will definitely be using them again! Thank you so much to Chef Martin and his sweet wife Amy for helping make our day perfect!!

We got the Cajun Roasted Chicken, Italian Roast Beef, Pasta Marinara, Roasted Potatoes and Vegetable Medley.
