This restaurant is located close to the cathedral. Food is good and nicely presented. Not quite michelin standard, but the restaurant has ambitions. The interior decoration is enhancing the eating experience. Menu is varied, both meat and fish dishes. Good selection of wines, but do not serve house wines in carafe. Not 50 cl bottles either. Staff is professional, attentive and knowledgeable. A pleasant experience. View all feedback.
What Emtci doesn't like about Le Boudoir:
We had a funny experience here as the place is really nice inside and the food and service were decent but we were just in a room on our own so no atmosphere and almost the feeling that you shouldn't be there. I know this is (sort of) not the owners fault but it can't help but impact on your dining experience. The room was also too hot (even with the installed a/c and a portable unit). Maybe the tip is to go later... View all feedback.
Pity that there weren't many clients the meal was DELICIOUS. We had the daily menu and it was very good value.

I agree with markranderson. We found this by accident and were delighted by the quirky decor, the charming waitress and of course the food. The starters were intriguing; mine was a courgette-based soup with fried ham strips in it, presented in one of those sideways bowls. My main was delicious meatballs with rice, and we finished with a sumptuous chocolate mousse. Red wine by the glass was superb, as was the espresso.
I found Le Boudoir in the back streets of old Perpignan last Sunday (August 4th) and had an excellent three course lunch: a delicious mousse, fish wrapped in ham and a fresh fruit salad. A very welcoming host, efficient service an a quiet pretty location.
We were a bit pressed this day and so we settled for a two-course meal. The welcome was warm and welcoming. We were given ice cold water immediately which was welcome on a baking hot day. The pace of service was gentle. Most clients elected to dine outdoor on the small shady terrace. We opted for the chic dining room with the very welcome air conditioning. The meal for me was tuna tartare followed by grilled fish. It was Red Gurnard accompanied by creamed rice. Both dishes were outstanding in taste and presentation. My wife has the same main but a mixed salad for starter. At all times we were treated at very welcome guests and the warm to the welcome rubbed off on all the clients who all appeared to be very content with their meal. The surrounding have been thoughtfully put together and cared for attentively. In all, it was a joyful experience to pass our Wednesday lunchtime. Any visitor to Perpignan would not be disappointed if a meal at Le Boudoir was on their agenda.
