North Perpignan is a depressing part of the world. it is so depressing the huge hospital actually lifts ones spirits a little bit. Nevertheless the Arigato is not a bad place to grab lunch if - for some very obscure reason - you are in the area. It has a decent buffet and then you get a main course as well. the sushi is well prepared and the place is clean and the service friendly. If only they could airlift the restaurant somewhere nice.
Super food, spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. We keep coming back for more! Serve yourself from the buffet of appetisers (best tempura I have ever had), then on to excellent sushi, maki, meat and fish brochettes - all prepared in front of you. Two things we particularly like about Arigato: the prices don't change from lunchtime to evening and the free parking right outside the door.
This restaurant, to which I have been several times, has proven outstanding each time in the food, the friendly and attentive staff and the very reasonable prices. The sushi and other Japanese food seems authentic (I'm not Japanese!) and the generous servings are attractively presented. The barbequed sticks of meat and fish are fresh off the coals; the huge buffet of both Japanese and European starters has unlimited crab sticks, fish balls and fresh shrimp, as well as three kinds of seaweed salads, among many other lovely fresh and deep-fried items, as well as soup. There are three flavors of Japanese ice cream for dessert but their mocha and chocolate liegoise are so delicious I look no further. I seldom go to Perpignan but if I must, I always make an effort to be in their neighborhood at lunch or dinner!

Super eating, immaculately clean and excellent value for money. we're always coming back. serve themselves from the buffet of the appetitzügler (best tempura I have ever had) then prepared for excellent sushi, maki, meat and fish breaks all before them. two things we like especially about arigato: prices do not change from midday to evening and free parking right in front of the door.
