We have eaten several times at the alambic and have never been disappointed. They have recently added a home made burger and pizzas to their traditional menu which should appeal to some it would however be a shame not to go for the other dishes on offer. A small side room could cater for a small group and we are still to try the terrace. Parking is easy. Warmly recommended
I decided to eat here because it already had good recommendations. And I was not disappointed. The indoor looks nice and the service was very friendly. My meal was excellent and well arranged. So if you are in the region you won't be disappointed!
We have been a few times and the food is excellent and good value for the area. The menu is not so large, but enough options. The restaurant is decor is very modern, but quiet and the owners are very polite. I recommend to phone before going (mainly to be sure they are open). If they add some more options for children (hamburger, a pasta dish) it would get 5/5 and we would visit regularly!
A few years ago, that was difficult to find a good restaurant of accessible price in that region. It now exists for about a year and we came twice this month. The owners are very sympathetic. The food is cooked and apart from standard French food, one can also get e.g. frog legs or eggs in meurette . The selection of wine is also quite good at the suggested price, e.g. the Mercurey Blanc. To summarise, we shall be back the next time we are in the region.
We had a fantastic meal, from start to finish the dishes were obviously made with a great deal of care and attention, the flavours complementary and well thought out. We both had the 35 euro menu which was very good value for simple but really tasty food. The filets de perche came with a little jug of butter lemon sauce, which had a perfect consistency and made it clear the chef knows what he is doing. The desserts were also spot on. Service was impeccable and quick, and the wine selection available was in tune with the food menu and full of good quality options. We sat on the terrace which overlooks the fields and woods leading to the Alps in the background, with the Jura beside. Don't be put off by it's position next to the road it's a small quiet one and there were maybe 10 cars going by over the whole meal. Overall it was a perfect meal and we will be back! Congratulations to the owners on a great little establishment.
