Both were perf... read more Very German experience: service was so 'stimmt '. With Luxembourgish friends we chose traditional meals for lunch: winzersteak and kalbschnitzel. Both were perfect. This area by the railway station is bit dirty, but restaurant itself very nice. Worth visiting also from Schengen.

We found Maimuhle not far from the bridge over the river and headed on in, attracted by the extensive and affordable menu. We just went for a traditional German main course and a soft drink and were not dissapointed we were very full. Service was excellent, even if the staff didn't speak that much English.They didn't mind me changing my order at all after getting food envy after seeing another diner's plate, even if it was a little difficult to communicate. A really enjoyable meal in a popular restaurant.

The ingredients are selected locally. The wine selection is also really nice. We come regularly.
