I just moved to the area and wanted Chinese food. I wanted nothing to greasy or heavy which Chinese food can be so I decided to try this place. I got the Thai Fried Rice, steamed dumplings, spicy chicken Thai red curry dish, and the cheese wontons. Everything was great except the cheese wontons they were a bit dry and had no flavor. What Beth D doesn't like about Ginger Garden:
I was the first customer of the day. Pickup time was to be 11:20 (they open at 11). Unfortunately it wasn't ready when I got there but 5 minutes later my order was brought out. They don't seem to want to include duck sauce or soy sauce with their orders. I ordered fried dumplings that appeared and tasted reheated in the microwave. Not a good experience. Their food is usually pretty good but I have noticed a few thing... View all feedback.
Amazing food and friendly owner! Be sure to place your order early as they tend to get quite busy. The prices are excellent considering the quality of the dishes.
I was the first customer of the day, with a scheduled pickup time of 11:20 (they open at 11). Unfortunately, my order wasn't ready when I arrived, but it was brought out just five minutes later. It seems they don’t include duck sauce or soy sauce with their orders, which is a bit disappointing. I ordered fried dumplings, but they tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience. While their food is usually quite good, I've noticed a decline in quality lately. The dining area could also use some attention, as the legs of the tables are rusted from the floor up to about 18 inches high.
Delivered 30 minutes late, left on porch in 30-degree weather and never knocked or rang doorbell. Everything was cold by the time it was discovered. First and last order...
As good as it gets in the sticks! American style Chinese food Done right, always fresh and yummy. I just wish they had more selection of vegetables like bok choy and dry fried string beans.
The food was ok. The staff were very nice and the food was prepared pretty quickly. But, I don't understand why every Chinese place we've tried in this area is sooooo bland. It's like Perkasie is the place where Asian spices/flavors go to die. And, sadly Ginger Garden is no different.
