**Dining at the Restaurant at Riotel: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
The Restaurant at Riotel presents a blend of remarkable food and varied service experiences. Guests typically rave about the delicious offerings, including tender chicken, flavorful seafood, and satisfying breakfast options—often highlighting the standout seafood chowder and well-cooked potatoes. However, feedback about service is inconsistent. While some enjoyed friendly staff and prompt assistance, others faced challenges with arrogance and lack of oversight. The spacious venue boasts stunning river views and a casual atmosphere, making it a solid choice for those seeking good food amidst a picturesque setting—though guests should be prepared for variability in service quality.

The food is delicious, and the chicken is incredibly tender. The seafood pizza may appear small, but it is loaded with toppings and features a thick crust. The view is also lovely!
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. A miscommunication on Google directed us to this charming spot. After walking the entire length of the boardwalk, we discovered that the restaurant wouldn’t open for another hour! With a group of nine, including five restless children, we were quite hungry! Thankfully, the bartender was incredibly understanding and resourceful, allowing us to order drinks and appetizers while we waited for the dining room to open. We were treated to a stunning view of Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island, and even got to see some whales breaching while we passed the time! When dinner finally arrived, the food was incredible, and our waitress was fantastic! It was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful day!
This has been the best restaurant experience in Perce to date. Everything was excellent, starting with the warm welcome from the hostess to the attentive service from our waitress. We opted for the table d'hôte, which included a delicious and piping hot soup that paired wonderfully with the bread. For our main course, we both chose the grilled chicken pasta, which was outstanding, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the coffee and a chocolate pie with a crushed nut base, both of which were delightful. We truly loved our experience here and would definitely come back again.
At Riotel, the restaurant is spacious and provides a wonderful view of the river. It's a laid-back, casual setting, so you won't find anything too fancy here. The quality of the food I experienced was excellent...
