8 people have dinner last Saturday. Spectacular food. to share first: oysters, spiders to the Roman, fried artichokes and chickpeas with chipirones. of seconds; rape suquet, chochinillo, cigalas iron, tataki de solmillo. Good wine letter. very good attention. higher level

We ate very well, not one sticks to what they served us, all very well. the attention of the wonderful owner, is a lovely lady with which it is a pleasure to exchange impressions, my recognition. the unbalanced quality/price ratio is not a micheline star and what we take was expensive, not for the quality of each thing, but for the general concept

The phrase that best defines the experience of tonight is the one that follows: too expensive. exquisite treatment, quality product. very jot rations for the final account. I will not repeat, with the gastronomic offer available the empordà is not worth it. pardon, però algú ho havia de dir.

Visiting Peralada for a few days and thought we would call in and have a drink with a view to eating in this acclaimed restaurant during our visit. Unfortunately the manager owner wasn’t having any of it . Opened the door to enter the restaurant and asked if my wife and I could have a drink , was told no drink only a la Carte menu available. Asked for a menu and was told a la carte menu in a very unfriendly manner ! My wife asked if they had a lunchtime menu and he said no and slammed the door in our faces ! In the end we tried the Peralada golf club restaurant for a drink, was made very welcome so booked for an evening meal. The meal, service and hospitality was excellent . Would definitely recommend ! I would avoid the Sotamuralla unless you like being insulted.

Although as a foreigner , and never been there our reservation by phone for 03.00 PM was easily accepted. I was traveling with a gourmand colleague and as our choice matched we decided to share the plates . We had espardenyas or sea cucumber which we did NOT regret at all , very tasty . Further some squid and a local fish . Make your pick , you wont regret it. Choice of wines , good desserts ............
