Only got a drink, so I can't say much, but it seems alright

Walking around peralada on a Sunday morning one of the few places open, right next to a bakery. Had some bread and local salami both good quality and good coffee. Located in a nice square. No extras basic but good

Overdue for a cool refreshing beer after walking around for hours in the hot sun and alighted upon this inviting place. Imbibed of the local brew plus a curried sauce and pork bocadillo. Both hit the spot perfectly, great tasting sandwich and beer break. Try it!

Well located within this beautiful village. Great for a quick snack before heading to a restaurant. Try Croquetes de carn d'olla. Delicious

Service wasn't great. We were ignored at the counter as the staff chatted, the waitress was not obvious to us and was annoyed that we had gone to the counter yet we had to due to the lack of service. I believe this is due to her wanting tips. She took ages to come outside with the bottle opener so we sat thirsty and waiting in the heat but the good news is that there is an amazing little bakery next door that opens to serve fresh bread every morning and across the square is a museum with hourly tours in english and french which is worth a go. It cost €26 for 4 adults and 1 ten year old. The old guy who lets you in is 97 and used to be the butler of the ancient family/owners of the castle!
