**Restaurant Review: Junction 21 – A Mixed Bag of Dining Experiences**
Junction 21 offers a unique blend of exceptional service and varied dining experiences amidst a cozy and inviting atmosphere. While some visitors rave about the delicious pizza and notable specialties like the Cod-Platten-Special, others express disappointment over lengthy wait times and food quality, with some dishes appearing frozen or lacking in portion size. The welcoming staff and delightful ambiance create a pleasant dining environment, perfect for family outings or a relaxing evening out. Although opinions vary, Junction 21 remains a popular stop for patrons seeking hearty meals and refreshing drinks in a charming countryside setting.

This place is fantastic! We stopped here for dinner two weeks in a row while heading back to the Quad Cities after visiting the Field of Dreams Movie Site. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu—the pizza is especially delicious—and they offer a wide selection of cold adult beverages as well. The service is fast and friendly, and there's a lovely outdoor seating area. This is a wonderful dining spot in the countryside, feeling like a personalized experience you’d find in a larger small town eatery. If I lived nearby, I’d probably eat here 2-3 times a week… and I’d likely be 100 pounds heavier!
I wish I could say it was good, but it wasn't. We waited an hour and a half for our food. We ordered fried tacos, I'm not sure what it was like taco meat on a pita bread or something like that, hard as a rock. I could barely cut it with a knife. Maybe they had an off night I don't know however I won't be back. Our waiter was really friendly and not his fault. We were disappointed.
Service was great. Friendly and very accommodating. Food tasted like it was freezer burnt. Had fried shrimp it was not good. Salad bar was set out while we watched. Cole slaw was half filled, so apparently taken from fridge and set out from previous night. Mayo should not be seved after being out like that and re- served. Great place for drinks. Not food.
After a long day, this place offers a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying a delicious dinner. My three kids are big fans of the flatbread pizzas, and the wings are fantastic too. To make it even better, they play soft 80s music and keep the lighting dim. It's our go-to spot when my wife and I want to unwind and have a nice, quiet meal. — Chris and Mendy
We dined at this restaurant for the first time last Friday night. It was really busy, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. We ordered the Cod-Platten-Special, and it was absolutely delicious. The salad bar could use a few more options and someone designated to keep it stocked, but overall, we had a fantastic experience. We're definitely planning to return!
