Was andrew cofield at Haddad's a mag?
I've been coming to Haddad's for more than 20 years and I still have never had better hummus, tabouli, gyros anywhere. I love all of the food but am partial to the Beirut Special because I adore the stuffed potato so much. This place should be recognized as a great peoria landmark. I had lunch at Haddad’s today and the food was great! More importantly, a man came in attempting to pay less than the amount of his meal and became hostile with the owner when she requested the full amount (apparently he had trouble comprehending the concept of sales tax). Wow! You have to come here. The Falafel dinner is out of this world. The Lebanese coffee is fantastic and rich, served in a brass decanter. We left feeling satisfied and full. The restaurant is sparkling clean and extremely cozy.

This restaurant offers excellent quality food, friendly service, and very affordable prices! Our group ordered a variety of dishes including carburetors (4), a falafel plate with hummus, baba ganoush, and parsley salad (10), and a Lebanese dinner plate with rice, gyro meat, carbure, green beans, and shawarma (10), all served with complimentary pita. The food arrived promptly and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I regret not visiting this restaurant sooner!
