Description

The Bakehouse offers a mixed dining experience with some diners enjoying the excellent food and attentive service, while others were disappointed with the lack of seasoning on main courses and the limited menu options. The atmosphere varied with some finding it quiet and lacking ambiance, while others appreciated the relaxed and welcoming setting. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for its interesting dishes, engaging service, and delicious desserts, but may not be suitable for those looking for a wider variety of menu options.

The service was excellent, food incredibly tasty (coconut and lentil soup and steak was superb) and they had some really nice local wines on the list that were genuinely impressive. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here they also do a brilliant value set menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Would 100% recommend eating at this restaurant!! I contacted Kim and Gary who own and run it, the month before my girlfriend’s birthday to organise 20 of us to go for a meal and from start to finish they were amazing. I had decorations that they kindly put up for me, the food on the day was fantastic (steak was awesome) but my partner is a vegetarian-so plenty of options available!! Everything about this place is brilliant-a true hidden gem, looking forward to next time-thank you!!

Had a really lovely meal here last night for my partners birthday, so glad we picked this place. A really pretty cosy restaurant with good vibes. The food was literally outstanding! The bread rolls with the butter were delicious, great starters and I had the best steak I believe I have ever had in my life, it was cooked to perfection. Loved the drinks and the two ladies who served us were so polite and lovely would definitely come back here again the next time we visit Cornwall. :
