My family and I ate a late breakfast here the other day. The food was good. Nothing any of us had was RAVE worthy, but every dish was quality food. I really enjoyed the ch/avo wrap. The grill is too hot to order basted eggs (the way I like them), but our sunny side up were nummy. The potato cubes weren't cooked enough, but I forgot to ask for them well done. We stopped by The Random Dish for a late lunch one Saturday. A few older couples and white-haired friends were seated at various tables. A slender man called out to sit wherever we wanted. Moments later the same man appeared with menus and explained the daily specials. We ordered lattes and studied the menu. I ended up ordering the Turkey Wrap with Fried Onions. The wrap was a generous size and stuffed with tender turkey, tart cranberry sauce and carrots. It was the perfect combination of crunch and soft textures (no one likes a mushy wrap or sandwich). The cranberry sauce lended the right amount of zing to the wrap. I wanted to save half for later, but I couldn't put it down. Next I sampled the fried onions. They were Devine! The fried coating was delicate (not thick where you can't even find the onion) and crispy. I don't usually go for fried onions, but I would definitely order these again! The Random Dish is a great breakfast and lunch cafe with delicious meals and affordable prices. The only issue is the hours. It is only open from 8-2, so you need to get breakfast later and lunch earlier. This will be a staple place for us!
