Penticton Buffet

I was really worried about the order from here as I had terrible experiences from both buffet places in the past during the Kovid times. I called to check that they spend their 10% on picking up orders. She explained that it only 10% discount on full price menu items. So no combination orders. That makes sense. I filed an order of $73 and paid only $66.95, so I didn't complain there. The food was fresh and what you would expect from a local Chieese restaurant. Much better experience last time I ordered here. The broccoli was boiled in beef and broccoli. I ordered the dry pork ribs and the honey chicken. A pork chowmien was tasteful and full of pork and a small steamed rice that was fresh. The two egg rolls were crispy and restaurant made. No complaints from the food. I was also given a free chowmien for ordering over $50 of food. That was a pleasant surprise. Ordered at 5.30 and picked up at 6.30 and the food was ready. Will definitely buy back from this place when we feel like a Chinese food.

This restaurant is close to the beach. The dishes are large and affordable. From 21 June 2020 there was no buffet. Nevertheless, combos a, b and c are great.

They don't have a buffet that doesn't really match their name. The food was excellent a few weeks ago when I left, but this time smaller portions and not tasteful.

Came in when they opened at 11:30 am and was excited as usually that early, food are freshly cooked. Guess what! My family and I were so disappointed and they served us heated food!!! We ordered 4 items and the salt and pepper seafood was the worst! The food was re heated and served to their customer. Rubbery on the inside and really crunchy and hard on the outside. They don't serve you freshly cooked food. Probably a left over from the day before and was re heated?!?! Not sure why this restaurant is claiming their the best in Penticton Trust me, I've done so many restaurant reviews and so far this is the worst. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it. False marketing claiming to be the best! what a joke.

Food was ok, but watch out for the online order system as they automatically add 15% tip. Skipped by the prompt as I was going to tip upon delivery... Before we realized it was added to the charge. What makes it worse is that when called about it the woman said you should have called in vs using online ordering.....
