Was Mike James at Cobs Bread a mag?
I've had Cobs Bread at various locations in Alberta, and it's always good, but I've never visited a store myself until now. Today, while I was at Olivia's Oils and Vinegars across the complex sampling oils, I asked where the bread was sourced from and learned it was from Cobs Bread just nearby. I eventually made my way over to Cobs, and I was delighted by the experience. I initially planned to buy just one loaf, but... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Cobs Bread:
I was very shocked and disappointed that Bliss Bakery did not offer a gluten free option for my sandwich, so I did not have a sandwich. When I had a bowl of soup, they didn't even have a gluten free option for that either. With the kind of demand out there right now for gluten free products, I have to say they are only hurting themselves.???? View all feedback.
I'll preface this by saying i don't normally write reviews. But i went into Cobs the other day looking for a savoury snack. The lady behind the counter apologized and explained they can only leave those items out for a certain amount of time. She asked me what kind I'd been hoping for and gave it to me for no charge! I tried to insist on paying or at least giving her the equivalent as a tip but she wouldn't hear it. It's great to know there are corporate places like this
If you're looking for genuine sourdough bread, I strongly advise against buying from Cobs. I purchased a loaf for a family member with diabetes, and after they had a sandwich made with that bread, their blood sugar level spiked dangerously high, making them feel extremely unwell. We had high expectations based on all the positive comments about Cobs, but unfortunately, those hopes were let down.

I?ve had other cobs bread in different locations in alberta and its good but ive never went into a store myself. I was at ?Olivias Oils and Vinegars? just across the complex testing oils and I asked where the bread was from. I was told that it wasfrom cobs bread just across. Eventually I made my way over to cobs (today actually) and was so happy. I was suppose to go inwith only one loaf but ended up coming out with 2 loafs and some buns! The lady who helped me was so nice and helped me findwhat I was looking for. Will definitely be back !!
