Burger 55 - Penticton
Burger 55
Description
Burger 55 is a neighborhood burger joint known for adventurous, highly customizable burgers—brioche or Angus patties topped with bold, unusual options—and generous portions. Fries and poutines are crowd-pleasers and shakes are tasty though small. The vibe is gritty, authentic and family-friendly with playful decor. Common drawbacks include inconsistent kitchen execution, missing toppings, under/overcooked sides and long, unpredictable waits, so expect great flavor but occasional service and quality hiccups.

Burger 55 is a solid burger joint. It's hard to come by a place that offers such an impressive variety of toppings. As a cilantro enthusiast, I really appreciated the options available. My friend was excited to add potato chips to his burger, which was a fun touch. Overall, the burgers were excellent, and I have no complaints!
I had an excellent grilled chicken burger on brioche! The roasted corn was a nice touch, but I wouldn't order it again; the maple bacon baked beans were quite hard, almost undercooked. The onion rings were very thin, so they were mostly batter. However, the fries were delicious! I also tried a beef burger, and it was really good.
Delicious! A fantastic experience for the entire family! I had the burger of the day paired with the poutine of the day, and it was perfect! The flavors were amazing, the portions were generous, and the decor was great. Overall, it was a wonderful time! Thank you, everyone!
I've noticed a lot of negative reviews, along with some positive ones from before 2015. It says something about the place that when you hire others to manage your restaurant, the quality tends to decline.
