Restaurant Ayam Bakar 7 Saudara

This is a nice little Indonesian restaurant with very friendly West Timor owners. There's a full menu but, given the name, I opted for ayam bakar and ayam goreng and they were incredible. You can see them expertly preparing them in the front. The grilled chicken had a tasty sauce while the fried had some welcome juicy chicken inside the batter and came with a super spicy sambal.

Had been wanting to try Ayam Bakar 7 Saudara for quite some time. Food is delicious and very authentic. It was like being transported back to Bali. Service is great. Highly recommend. A must do. I know we’ll be going back.

We had dinner with a group of 7 and was attended to by the owner who patiently waited for us to decide on the dishes and also threw in his own suggestions. That made the whole experience a relaxed and enjoyable one. The ayam bakar was simply fantastic and so were the other dishes that we ordered. We hope to go back to try out the numerous choices that they had on the menu. Highly recommended to those who are after an authentic Indonesian cuisine.

Most restaurant would be refusing to take customers around 9 pm. Not this one, we were welcome with hospitality as if we were their first. The food here are all reasonably priced. We love their Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken) very succulent well marinated and the chili sauce compliments this dish really well. Their Tofu and Tempe are also very nice. Sop buntut (Ox Tail) is equally yummy. We also tried Lontong Sayur which also taste really nice. If would be even better if they can make their Lontong a bit firmer.
