Hungry Howie's Pizza - Pensacola

We tried two pizzas, one with asiago crust and loaded with veggies and meats, and the other with garlic butter crust and extra cheese. Both pizzas were delicious, but we preferred the asiago crust. We ended up going back three days later to get both pizzas with asiago crust again. We also ordered wings and antipasto salads. The salads were tasty, but the wings had a blackened seasoning that was too spicy for our liking. However, others may enjoy the heat.

The employees are always friendly and the food is freshly made. The dough is made daily, as I used to work at a different location. Although they can get busy, orders are now taken online. Overall, it's better than Pizza Hut.

I recently went to pick up my order from this restaurant. I ordered a pizza and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I made a few stops before arriving at the restaurant about 25 minutes later. The girl at the counter asked for my name, checked the hot box next to her, and informed me that my pizza was in the oven. After waiting for over 5 minutes, another young girl approached (seemingly more competent than the previous one), asked for my name, checked the screen, and found my pizza in the hot box. I was relieved that I had to wait for someone competent to locate my order that had been ready all along.

Hungry Howie's has better pizza than any other stores (in my opinion). I didn't rate ATMOSPHERE because I always have my pizza delivered. I'm sure it would be a 4 or 5 though.

Ordered 2 sub from here and they were so burnt the were inedible. The manger did credit to the account but the other employees had a dont care attitude. Had to go buy another dinner from a different resturant was scared of what they might do to the food if they sent new out. This used to be a good location but the quality has gone downhill
