The Fishing Hole - Pensacola

My family and I went to the fishing hole for lunch on Saturday. After we have never eaten there, we were not quite sure what to expect, but from the time we went, the restaurant had a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the special features. (I know it seems strange to mention that especially, but unfortunately I was places where the employees were not particularly familiar with the food they served. The cook introduced us and was very human. He showed a real passion for what he does and actually presented us with small samples from some of the secondary dishes, after essentially our entire party ordered Fritten as their pages. All the secondary dishes I tried were very good, especially the elastic. We received our most important courses shortly after and we were all impressed. The portions were plentiful and everything was perfectly prepared. I had the black red snapshot and it was among the best of the snaps I've ever had. My wife had the black chicken tacos and was satisfied with the combination of flavors and the quality of the meat. My aunt had a more classic South Court, fried catfish, and said it was some of the best she ever had. Everything was spiced. The prices were also quite reasonable for the type and quantity of food obtained. The fishing hole is now definitely at the top of my list for the next time I want seafood. Very recommended.

Don't be fooled from outside. Great place to go. Dress up or down and you will be finished. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. Tasha our waitress was great. She checked us to make sure our tea was full and we didn't miss anything. The cook kicked my cats perfectly. I'll visit again. Thanks for the excellent service.

The food was half-priced with other fine restaurants. The service was very friendly and the ambience was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The desserts. You might want to get one and share one. A great place to take your friends or for a romantic dinner for two.

Excellent food and great service! I recommend the bacon-wrapped broiled shrimps. You'll think you died and went to heaven.

March 2018 Returned and the food and service it's still great. The owner was there and ready friendly. I tried the brownies this time and I highly recommend them, they were delicious and obviously home made. Nice batter on the fish, I just wish the pieces were a little bigger. Still great
