What david parry doesn't like about Angus:
Went for a cozy dinner with friends and what a nightmare! The service was slow almost fifteen minutes to get our drinks. Then the food was poorly seasoned. I had the Greek style snapper with a side order of broccoli, the broccoli was way overcooked and the portions were inadequate for the price. I entertain clients in cities all over the country, but never again at the Angus!!! This place needs help! View all feedback.
I have been a long time customer of the Angus. The food has always been wonderful but just as important to me is the atmosphere. I appreciate the fact that the Angus has made gradual changes over the years to stay modern. I'm grateful that we have this long standing family business still thriving!! Thank you Angus! I'll be there soon for cocktails and oysters in your cozy lounge.
My wife, son and I love to dine at the Angus, it is our favorite place in Pensacola. They serve Certified Black Angus Beef which for you meat lovers its the next best thing to Prime. To start out we had the shrimp saganaki and the stuffed portebello for appetizer it was delicious. My favorite entrée is the Bone-In Ribeye French Quarter style my wife loves the Balsamic Salmon. The server was attentive without going overboard. It's nice that their is still some independent restaurants left, I highly recommend this restaurant. Reasonably priced. We will definitely be back
If you want a wonderful dining experience while in Pensacola, look no farther that The Angus. Here is a restaurant that has stood the test of time (owned by the same family for over 40 years) and better and better with each passing year. A truly enjoyable night out for a special occasion or just a delightful dinner. I can certainly say that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner recently at The Angus. The rib eye steak that I ordered was superb, cooked to perfection and tender enough to cut with a fork. My wife’s crab stuffed flounder with lemon cream sauce was an excellent choice, fresh and delicious. The service as always was impeccable and owner Peter Bithos always makes you feel at home as if you were family. I can definitely recommend this great restaurant in downtown Pensacola.
My wife and I love the Angus. It is our favorite restaurant. We have had nothing but great food and service at this local establishment. For half the price of the big city restaurants of the same caliber you can enjoy a tasty meal (great drinks too). Why go to a chain when you can go to a local restaurant that supports its local economy.
We used to eat at the Angus once a month on average. Was one of our fav restaurants. They changed chefs and we have not been happy. We gave it another try just in case but will likely not return.
