What Lisa Johnson doesn't like about Aaron's La Union Latina:
Bought some tortilla flour mix and it was expired from May 2021. Went to La Union while on vacation in Pensacola this past weekend. The people there were friendly. There were several dishes to choose from. I had the soup- beef short ribs, plantains, potatoes, corn, carrots, cilantro, avocado. It was excellent! My cousin had the stewed chicken. She loved it. Both were served with rice and plantains. I ate delicious what I wanted. Parking: No problem.
The Honduran tamales. Yum and priced at $3. Each to go. They are double the size of Mexican tamales and wrapped in plantain leaves. Very hardy and delicious
Very good Kid-friendliness: Very delicious food, especially on Saturday and Sunday.
Possibly good as a grocery. One item menu, with no prices listed. For the price I paid for tough, chewy Carne asada, I could have gotten seafood downtown.
