Went here for a meal when we stopped over in Penrith on our way up to Scotland. Ideal location right opposite the hotel. Service was great, very welcoming. We had a delicious fish pie to share for starters and for mains I had the BBQ pork and my husband had the beef. Too full for pud unfortunately. Also had 1L carafe of wine. Thanks for a lovely evening :

Dishes are always well presented The duck was cooked to perfection Ginger Dessert was to die for. Would 100% recommend this place and look forward to the next time we return.
Really delicious food, everything was packed with flavour from start to finish including the delicious bread and butter. Service was impeccable and extremely friendly. We had a wonderful meal here and would certainly dine again when we’re next in Penrith!
Fabulous place. The food was delicious, the menu concise and the service excellent. The staff looked happy to be there something that shouldn’t be underestimated! I thought it offered good value for money and loved that it felt like a treat without being pretentious. We would definitely return when back in Penrith.
Just wow. Our first time here but won’t be our last. We’re not local but will go out of our way to revisit. Food delicious. Open kitchen with great, laidback chefs. Staff funny, personable and professional. Highly recommend
