JavaLava Cafe - PENNANT HILLS

Came here for breakfastWith the quality of cafes in Sydney increasing by the minute this cafe will be left behind with their basic offerings.

It was a while since I last ate here.though today I tried it again.

The cafe has a nice atmosphere and attempts to supply a healthy environment.

We popped for coffee after lunch 6 of us we sat outside and ordered inside at the counter The lady taking our orders was great she was happy, knew about coffee and made it easy to order We waited a few minutes and our coffees were served quality of our coffees was good overall a positive experaince

Stopped in on my way out of Sydney for a take away breakfast. My coffee was weak and way too hot; I asked for warm. The rest were okish. BUT the croissant with jam & cream - no cream & the jam was a .20cent plastic portion tub. Toast .... 2 slices of plain white bread, not toasted & a mountain of vegemite. Finally my bagel ($11.90) with cream cheese & salmon, etc .... still looking for a hint of salmon, are they on migration? All I got was a warm bagel with butter & I think some cream cheese if I used a microscope. PATHETIC! We would have been better off going to maccas; at least you get what you pay for. This was $35 of nothing.
