Another great impromptu lunch at Luma - the food is consistently excellent and it is nice to see Luma evolving a bit as it matures. Since they opened a few months ago there have been subtle changes, I presume in response to punters and to ideas from the staff.Loved the mulled cider, it was like medicine on a chilled day and it is great to see a range of local micro brewery beers available. The $1.00 Oyster Thursdays (4 to 6pm) is a great idea and a good treat on the way home from work, with a nice wine or beer. The "Bar Snacks" too, a great idea, not unlike bars in Spain, where a big part of being there is a small disk or tapa with you food - great stop before going to the airport, if you are flying out or on your way home from work if you are a local. We do like the pizzas toooo, I know some peeps think because they haven't got a 3 cm pile of 20 ingredients on them, they may not be worth the money, but I would remind punters that a traditional pizza is not the Mc Pizza that is offered misnamed to us - A good pizza should allow you to actually taste the selection of limited ingredients its base carries - quality and a well curated choice of sensation - taste smell and sight (even sound)Keep the good work up Luma
Really good alternative pizzas and interesting bar choices...eg ontap local microbrews....local gins and spirits. Cool decor with an ambiance of fresh vitality. and really exceptional staff. For great food and a great place go to Luma
Not the place for vegetarians a couple of things on the menu but not a lot of flavour on my mushroom pizza
I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The food took too long to arrive and was cold. I will be looking for a new place to eat. Today, they made me very angry.
