Decent option for a brunch spot. The food is good and they offer vegan egg and meat options, however there is a hefty up-charge. The service was great and they didn’t mind that we stayed and chatted for a bit. It was nice not feeling rushed out the door. View all feedback.
What Alan Rice doesn't like about Turning Point Of Bryn Mawr:
Went here last Monday with a guest for a quick lunch. Place was full with a ten-minute wait. Not bad, but the food was not the best. My shrimp and grits came out with the shrimp rubbery and the grits were thick and pasty. My guest's Turkey club sandwich bread was toasted to death. The tortilla chips that accompanied the sandwich never came with any salsa, which was strange, since I explicitly asked the server NOT to... View all feedback.
We were given dirty glasses, twice. The hollandaise on the Benedict was oily and broken. The replacement dish took way too long to bring out and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. We ordered pancakes- mine came out golden and perfect, my friend’s came out dark and crispy. Our server seemed confused and frazzled most of the time. Again- the restaurant was not busy enough to warrant this. The service at other tables was also poor. As a frequent restaurant goer- it was a confusing and disappointing experience.

I ordered an omelette and bacon. The bacon was hard the omelette had no flavor. I shouldn’t have to add ketchup to finish a meal
This was my first visit to TP. The avacado toast was only surpassed by the excellent service. Our server, Taylor was lovely, friendly and professional. Thank you for a fantastic morning with my mom.
