Toca do Texugo - Peniche

If they like fish, they just get out of the net, that's the right place! this restaurant has no great aesthetic considerations, it is very simple, but it has the best fish I have ever eaten. when they arrive, they simply choose the fish that is grilled, then they wait for the friendly staff to bring us this miracle. the fish paradise!

When touring around Peniche, we stopped here for lunch. A small simple place, but with good food. We were 4 persons sharing a big grilled robalo. Very tasty. The house white wine was not the best but cold and fresh for a lunch.

The best grilled fish we ever had! when they board, choose their fish and then take them a place while the chef magie work! for 30 € we shared an extremely sublime grilled sea bass with beautiful fresh salad and kartoffel and an orange. brot, olive, cheese and cake are a few euro more. absolutely wonderful eating, great atmosphere, nice helpful staff, full of locals! a true taste of the best Portuguese seafood at a very reasonable price! 10/10 I can't wait to come back and try the tinted fish! you see the photo for all who stayed fishing from our poor when we were done with it!

We stumbled on this place, the coast road drive after we do not have a restaurant of interest in the city to lunch and visit the miradouro cabo carvoeiro. more interesting approaches- choose their fish or seafood from the fall and wait for them to burst. Nothing imagination...here the grilled fresh fish is the function no sauces or exaggerate the seasoned. you don't have to pick up the supplements. the fish was excellent; the sides of the salads, kartoffels and vegetables were so-so. the dorado meal I had was 13 euro; the meal of my wife was about the same. they forgot to calculate for the second meal, we corrected and paid the bill for the second meal. it was a Sunday and full of families. do not expect an English language to be spoken here. many parking spaces on roads. the seacoast vista above the road is a big plus for a short walk after the meal.

Very good fish, fresh. You can only choose what's available. The service is simple but fast, the place rustic, with wood benches, not a fancy restaurant at all. Quiet place. The food was good and in good quantities and the price was nice for the...quality. There's nothing special, but the overall experience is nice if you're looking for a kick and fresh fish meal.
