Similar on the plate of omelet with shrimps. Chips were the only one good food we had. Unfortunately, besides this, waiters were...absolutely unattentive and the toilets were without paper. Other aspects were average. We came to eat and just smelly food made this experience disgusting.

After we walk around peniche too long and look for something at the wrong place, we stumbled on cafe oceano. there were 8 of us, and as all non-smoking we decid... read more After we walk around peniche too long and look for something at the wrong place, we stumbled on cafe oceano. there were 8 of us, and as all non-smoking we decided to eat inside, which was smoke-free. it has a real caffe feeling, the restaurant and there is a huge menu over the wall to read it without my glasses, one of the waiters came immediately with a book version of the menu, but it was not obvious where the rest of the menu was hidden. eating is very cheap, but still very tasty. 6 of our party had burger, single for the younger children, double for the others. I had a thunfish salad with pineapple and pfirsiche in, was really delicious and my man had added an omelette with extra everything. the workers were not as good in English as other places we were, and they have forgotten some of the order, but it did not take long to correct and we were all in a position to eat mostly at the same time. we had a place to dessert, and the pastel de nata was very good, the ice amazing, and the waffels delicious. the bill for 4 of us with drinks and dessert for 3 came to about 32 euro. with that in mind, there is nothing they can really complain about. it was tasty, we finally got it and the staff was very friendly.
