Viridi - Penela

We had two very good salads here. One was a chicken salad and the other was a smoked salmon salad. I have never seen a salad with so much smoked salmon on. We had our dogs with us so we had to sit outside which wasn’t a problem. The cost was very reasonable, €10 for the smoked salmon and €8 for the chicken. Wine was a reasonable €2 a glass for a good quality wine. Cappuccino was €2. We will definitely be coming back. The waiter/barman couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. The marque is a restaurant with a bar.

This is my third visit. Each time I´ve had something different. On my first visit the excellent soup was only warm but that is my only minor gripe. The toasties are amazing and the yoghurts are really yummy. The vegetables and fruit are always of the best quality and service is with a smile. No praise is too high. 6* from me (oh, I´m only allowed to give 5)!

Great menu, lovely staff, had a wonderful lunch. Met friends first lunch, restaurant was really busy but they set us up outside with a glass of wine til a table was free. Will go back again
