Delightful locally owned and operated restaurant located in the historic Pendleton Bank building. Service has been excellent every time I've eaten here, and the food is fantastic. I simply can't seem to have leftovers. That food just gets in my mouth! I'll be back.

My daughter and I rode our bikes down here to have dinner. The website says they close at 9 pm. We arrived at 8pm and were told sorry we are closed. We saw a waitress on the left side of the restaurant taking an order from a family. The lady told me specifically that they were closing because they were slow. That's not good business. She was very upset. We won't be coming back.

Went here for the very 1st time about 2 weeks ago with my Fiancé and ate and also met with the Events Coordinator manager about having our reception here. 1st the fried pickles were so greasy and not cooked all of the way that we obviously didn't eat all of them. 2nd the Manager said he would speak with the Owners and get back to US, we are 5 weeks away from our Wedding Day and still no reply, not even a message saying they can't do it or don't want to do it just nothing. We will not be back here and will never recommend this place to anyone

Well I have dwelled on this review. After a lot of thought I will have to say that the food we had was mediocre at best. The reason being not that the food was bad but it wasn't great either.I had the Pot Roast and actually it had great flavor but presentation is everything. Most Pot Roast that I have had has carrots, celery and sometimes Pearl onions and there was none of that. It was served over mashed potatoes and that was it. I got a side of green beans. Not even a roll or bread. It wasn't appetizing to look at but as I said it had good flavor. It would have been better as a beef Manhattan provided it had all the indelibles that go with that.Next was the Salmon patties. A bland flavor the sides were good. I always compare Salmon patties to Old Trails and these were not in the same ballpark. Our service was very good and the atmosphere needs some change.I personally think the tools are there for the food and someone needs to rethink the Pot Roast or change the presentation. The Salmon patties shouldn't be served with Remoulde sauce on the patties but on the side. More flavor should be added to patties. We will come back to try other menu items. We had the chicken wings. I'll stop there.
