**Taco Bell Pendleton: A Mixed Bag of Fast Food Experience**
Taco Bell Pendleton serves up tasty offerings, such as excellent tacos and flavorful burritos, but the experience can vary significantly. While some diners praised the friendly staff and affordable prices, others pointed out delays and kiosk ordering issues that complicated their visits. Long waits in the lobby, forgotten items, and a lack of urgency from employees contributed to frustrations. Despite these hiccups, many agree that for those craving fast food, this location stands out for its satisfying flavors. Ultimately, it remains a solid choice for Taco Bell enthusiasts, though not without its challenges.

I've been a manager of a fast food restaurant for 20 plus yrs and I would have been very disappointed in my staff if I was the manager of this taco bell. I'll start out with the easiest one my cheese roll up sprinkled cheese on me when I picked it upbecause it was not steamed at all. But the biggest problem was the girl taking the order only replied with is that it like letme order. Am I bothering you? I pulled up to the window to what I can only assume is the same girl only telling me the totaltaking the card and handing it back I had to ask for the receipt. She didn't say another word this whole time. Hands me thefood and closes the window. I get being under staffed and busy. But the rushing of guests and not talking at all was very offputting. I had a friend in the phone and after my order was taken they even replied that was rude.
After having been told to use screen instead of taking our order in person ????2 employees came out from back to chat up w/ a customer who walked in after us. Supposedly the did a phone order got their food before. Also witnessed boy taking multipledrive up orders our screen oder still not checked ????we have to get to our destination Boise, Idaho need to eat as it'sgetting late already ???? even told him we can see what you're doing. Heard a bunch of commotion in back about not findingtomatoes....Really?!???? Geez who's managing this place. Got an apology finally got our food. 30 min. ????
Did not like the fact that you are STRONGLY suggested to order on a screen upon walking in the restaurant. We found it somewhat difficult to navigate and asked an employee if she would just take our order. Her reply was, How are we supposed to make thefood and wait on people at the same time? I couldn 't believe it, especially, since we were the only two customers inside. Yes,there were people in the drive thru, and perhaps people ordering online, but at least 5 employees that I could see were present. To this woman 's credit, she did end up taking our order and eventually apologized. I worked for Taco Bell a few decades ago, andit is a lot of work, but customer service is a big part of it!
We?ve been waiting for 40 mins in the lobby for our food. Seen countless orders go to the drive through. Seems as though the workers give no care, they are moseying around. Seen 6 people go up to get their missing drinks they were not given. Just a badtime. At least my food was good
Honestly disappointed at this location I was sent to a kiosk instead of being able to order with a human , it prevented me from ordering for myself at all. I make several substitutions to accommodate my gluten intolerance. The kiosk does not off thesesubstitutions. Will not go in again.

I was really disappointed. I walked in and stood at the counter for some time. Eventually I was told to order at the kiosk and pay with a card. They no longer accepted counter orders. I am sorry but I don't do that. If I can't get service, they won't get my money. I walked out.
Honestly, the food was a lot greasier than usual. Whatever they did—whether it was adding extra ingredients or keeping the oil on the skillet—it made the meal almost too oily to enjoy. My stomach isn’t happy about it. However, Taco Bell in Pendleton, Oregon typically offers very good food, which is why I'm giving it four stars instead of five. Many people don’t think of Taco Bell when they think of Mexican cuisine, and the closest thing they have to authentic flavors is their hot sauce. Just saying. But if you’re looking for fast food that’s cheap and filling, this is definitely the place to go when that’s what you want.
I redeemed one of my rewards yesterday and also ordered a menu item. The menu item was fresh and hot, but the reward item was cold and insufficient. This location has been declining since the manager retired. The franchise owners have their children managing the store, and the quality has noticeably suffered.

Why even bother ordering what you want if you're just going to receive something completely different?

Everything was fantastic! They got all the extras right, even though this Taco Bell is usually quite crowded. Great job!
Delicious! I really enjoy my bean and lettuce taco! However, this is the third time I’ve ordered a crunchy taco with black beans and no lettuce, and even though I paid extra, I didn’t get any meat. What’s going on? I want a taco, not a soggy, cold tortilla filled with beans. They also gave me the wrong type of beans.

I have never had such a horrid experience at a fast food restaurant. I ordered in the lobby and waited for my food. The workers COMPLETELY ignored EVERYONE in the lobby, the were LOUDLY swearing in the back, while there were children and elderly women waiting. After 25 minutes, I had not even received my drinks. I approached the counter, and saw the FILTHY kitchen. I had to say, excuse me to get anyone 's attention. When the young women approached the counter, I explained that I wanted my back. At that point she began to pour our drinks, I said, no, I no longer want the food, I want my money back . She left the counter, stopped to talk to her coworkers, and then one of them went to get the manager. I did receive my money back. WORST experience EVER. Would NOT recommend
The food was tasty, and the staff were pleasant, though I felt they were a bit underwhelming. It took a long time to get through the drive-thru, and they forgot a few items, which meant we had to return. Since the lobby was closed, we had no choice but to go back to sort things out. Overall, what should have been a quick stop during our road trip ended up taking about an hour.
We were surprised to find that the restaurant strongly encouraged ordering through a screen as soon as we arrived. We found it a bit challenging to navigate, so we asked a staff member if she could take our order directly. Her response was, "How can we prepare food and take orders at the same time?" I was taken aback, especially since we were the only two customers inside. While there were some drive-thru customers and possibly online orders, I could see at least five employees present. To her credit, the woman eventually took our order and apologized for the inconvenience. Having worked at Taco Bell a few decades ago, I know it can be hectic, but good customer service is essential!
