Sahm's Smokehouse - Pendleton
Sahm's Smokehouse
Description
Nestled near Falls Creek Golf Park, this outdoor BBQ restaurant boasts a lively atmosphere complete with yard games and live music. Diners rave about large portions and standout dishes like brisket and pulled pork. The Long Island iced teas and cheese curds receive high praise, while a varied drink selection further enhances the experience. However, some dishes, including the chicken and mac and cheese, fall flat, and service can be slow during busy times. Sticky tables and minor cleanliness issues were noted, but friendly staff and a vibrant vibe make this spot worth a visit for BBQ enthusiasts.

Sahms is a hidden Pendleton jewel that offers an outdoor BBQ restaurant with a fun patio vibe. It is next to Falls Creek Golf Park and has yard games, bocce ball, and other fun things to do. There was live music the night that we were there, which added a lot to the summer fun vibe. Family friendly with a good bar selection.
Campfire beans were rancid and guacamole old as well. Guacamole in my picture looks good but it was dark, too garlicky and old.
10/10!!! I got the BYO mac and my fiance got the chicken legs!! So amazing. The food was incredibly fresh tasting it was one of the best out to eat meals we have had in a long time. They have a great alcohol selection as well! I was so happy to find out next time we can bring our dog and sit in the outdoor seating?? our servers name was Alyssa and she was on top of it always making sure we had fresh drinks!!
We decided to check out this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. While the service was outstanding even though the place was busy, we were let down by the food. We ordered the combo platter, which included ribs, brisket, and sausage. Unfortunately, the ribs were dry and tough, as if they had been left out for too long. The brisket tasted quite good, but it was served cold. On top of that, we ordered draft beers that cost $11, but they were served in glasses straight from the dishwasher, still hot, which left us with lukewarm beer. Overall, the combination of cold brisket, dry ribs, and lukewarm beer made for a disappointing experience. I hope this was just an isolated incident, but we won't be returning any time soon. I’m giving it two stars for the excellent service and the hash brown casserole, which were the highlights of our visit.
I had a genuinely local experience at Convoy, and it really left an impression on me. The Long Island iced teas were fantastic, and the liter of beer added a fun element. The cheese curds were absolutely delicious! However, I would suggest steering clear of the chicken, as it was a bit too seasoned for my liking. The pulled pork was amazing, the ribs were great, but the brisket was definitely the highlight of the meal!
