She was one of the most helpful and genuine staff members I've encountered in a long time. Her dedication impressed me so much that I felt compelled to leave a review. I hope her positive attitude and honesty are recognized and appreciated because she went above and beyond. When I accidentally ordered the wrong item from the menu, she refused to let me settle for the mistake and promptly remade my sandwich. She was also very friendly and kindly walked me and my purchases out to my car to save me an extra trip. Thank you!

When a white customer came in... read more I arrived at Pilot Travel Center at 5:30 AM hoping for a friendly greeting, but instead was met with a curt "SIGN SIGN?... SWIPE?" When a white customer came in right after me, the server’s demeanor instantly changed to a cheerful "GOOD MORNING, HOW ARE YOU?" The difference in treatment was impossible to overlook, especially as a Black customer. It’s disappointing to consider spending over $500 of my hard-earned money only to be met with rudeness that feels personal. This experience clearly shows that racism still exists, but I’m determined to keep speaking out against it!
