I 'm also concerned for the locals... We stopped in Pendleton for the night. The hotel staff recommended this place as The Best! The reviews were also pretty good. The staff were very friendly. The food it was pretty. Except for the cabbage salsa it was brown. The taste there literally was no seasoning. Bland. We got chicken and steak fajitas for 2. There was enough meat cut into tiny slivers) for one fajita each. There was a mound of peppers and onions. For $30+ it should have meat. The rice was flavorless and yellowish. I 've not ever seen rice like this before. If this is The Best in town, the locals need to get out more. :
