Caplinger's Fresh Catch Seafood Market

We ate here for the first time on Wednesday when we were in town for an event. We live about half an hour south, so we are not often in Indy, but that will change after we discovered this amazing place. We went to Indy today (Friday) again, but we went out to go to lunch again, since we were nearby, so we had dinner here twice in 3 days. The food was perfection both times, and the service was fast and extremely friendly. Next time we will be back in Indy, and I will recommend this place to my friends and family. I hope you're considering adding another location in South!!

Absolutely love to eat here when I get an opportunity to visit the Northside. It is a shame that a great restaurants like this focus so much on the Northside. There are people that live south of Indianapolis that love fresh seafood too. The grouper us to die for! Come on Nick...give us southsiders someplace new and different!!

This hidden gem is the best fresh fish market in the area. We come at least once a month or more for their fresh fish sandwiches or dinners. They are excellent. You won't be sorry to give them a try, and then you will continue to be faithful customers.

I went to Caplinger's for the first time today and I was incredibly impressed. As soon as a I walked in a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman greeted me and assisted me with my questions. He proactively offered some tips and cooking techniques. I walked out of there with a wild caught salmon and it was fantastic. I marinated it with there Ashman Apricot Maple and it turned out to be one of the best seafood experiences I've had. Thrilled to know about Caplinger's and can't wait to go back!

Two very impressed thumbs up to Caplinger's Fresh Catch. I'm really trying to eat a healthier diet and cut back on meat, and Caplingers was perfect. I got the Caplinger's special dinner: grilled basa with Cajun/creole seasoning, corn on the cob seasoned with Old Bay, and Mac cheese. The fish was amazing! Very light and mild, perfectly grilled and seasoned. Plus, you can order online and pick it up when it's ready so you don't have to wait for your food.
