The management has changed again since the previous review and the Hospedería-Restaurante is now being run by the experienced team from the nearby Torre del Visco and what a transformation! The setting is simply wonderful as demonstated by the photos. The food and service is excellent. Our shared 'suquet de peix ' (much more than a fish stew! with clams, monkfish and sea bass was absolutely delicious, accompanied by a salad of sliced giant aragonese tomato. We also shared a mixture of homemade desserts.

This used to be one of our favourite restaurants whenever we visited Matarraña. Charming historical convent converted into a hotel and restaurant. Previous management ran the place with personal touch and nice classy deco. Menu was simple but very well executed. Our visit tonight came as a shock. All the classy atmosphere and charm are gone. The antique furniture has been replaced by a modern mediocre one. Service was not what you expect in this type of establishment. Food was disastrous. Just edible. No more. This is a registered historical establishment. Authorities should ensure that a proper standard is maintained when they grant license to operate it. What a disappointment. Avoid at all costs .
