Amazing experience. There’s a whole tour of the restaurant, which we loved. Unforgettable location, surrounded by beautiful vineyards. Great selection of wines. Overall 100% recommended.
Top service, well cooked and wholesome food. Amazing space. Not your typical eclectic as food is more usual fare but cooked with excellent ingredients and skill. And as one would expect, a well rounded and extensive wine list of Spain’s best wines
Having had the pleasure of eating in some of the finest restaurants in Europe (El Celler de Can Roca, Fat Duck, Waterside Inn, Abac, Sant Pau) I can rate Ambivium as good as these 3* Michelin establishments. The Ambivium experience is amazing. A journey of their bodega’s wines (and others from around the world) with delicate dishes with a full professional service. They even had a mini degustación for our fussy 9 year old son. We did the 25 courses 2 hour dinner. If you have the time I’m sure the 3 hour dinner will be even better. Bring your camera for the sunset over Peñafiel castle. Sit back and enjoy the experience. Spain is renowned for its gastronomy. This is an excellent example waiting to be recognized. Thanks to everyone who made our last meal of our 2 week vacation so special.
We had the short menu only 13 courses and 15 wines with the international wine parings. The service was excellent. The dishes we creative and the wine pairing were spot on. It was a very enjoyable 3 hour lunch. I was surprised to discover that they don 't have a Michelin star. They deserve at least one. The only negative was some of the wine pours were very small. It would be easy to overdo it with 15 wines, but some pours were probable ½ oz, almost too small to taste. Overall the portions and the pacing was good so we didn 't walk away feeling overstuffed or drunk.
