This quaint restaurant offers excellent fresh food made with locally sourced ingredients, particularly seafood which changes daily depending on the catch of the day. They also have a great selection of local ales and ciders for you to enjoy with your meal. Although the restaurant is located a bit of a drive away from other establishments and attractions, it is well worth the journey. We had to make a reservation as the place gets quite busy, but even when fully booked, they managed to find us a table. The drive to the Stackpole Inn took us about 15 minutes through some scenic but quiet roads. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the bar and told that our table would be ready soon. While waiting, we enjoyed a guest draught of the day, which included a delicious Black Dragon Welsh Cider at 7% alcohol content. The menu offers a variety of fresh seafood options, with whole fish being a standout choice. The portions were generous and the food was flavorful, even if the presentation was not the best. An a la carte menu is also available for those looking for something different. The atmosphere at the Stackpole Inn is simple and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing meal. Although we did not stay overnight, the accommodations at the inn seem to be convenient for those looking to extend their visit. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Stackpole Inn for anyone looking for a delicious meal made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The drive may be a bit out of the way, but the food and atmosphere make it well worth it, especially for fans of local cider and seafood.

The prices are reasonable and if you can attend a specialty night, you will get great value for your money. Only £15.00 for 6 courses per person. The staff is also very friendly.
