The Stackpole Inn - Pembrokeshire
The Stackpole Inn
Description
Nestled in a stunning location, The Stackpole Inn has garnered a reputation for its vibrant atmosphere and enticing menu. While some diners have enjoyed delightful meals featuring fresh fish and generous portions, others have faced challenges with overcooked dishes and inconsistent service. Slow service and average-quality meals, particularly the steak, have left certain patrons disappointed. However, many rave about the attentive staff and welcoming ambiance, praising the exceptional quality of the food and quick service on busier days. Overall, The Stackpole Inn remains a popular choice, with a mix of memorable and lackluster experiences worth noting.

Feedback
The restaurant was bustling with activity and the cook appeared to be a bit overwhelmed, resulting in burnt fish and chips. However, the location itself was beautiful! The beer was delicious and the other dishes were very enjoyable.
After watching the episode featuring the Hairy Bikers at the restaurant, we were quite disappointed. The portion sizes were huge, but the quality of the food was only mediocre. We were surprised to find that cheese had been substituted in one of our meals without any prior notice. After a long journey of two and a half hours, we sadly concluded that we would not be returning to this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and served in generous portions. The garden area is also dog-friendly, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun.
The meal was quite pricey at £150.00 for 4 people (without drinks), and the side orders of vegetables were lacking in quantity. However, overall it was a great evening. The only downside was the subpar quality of the Vegetarian options, which were not up to par. I would give it 3 stars due to the limited veg options.
