Contribute Feedback What Rick doesn't like about Punta Cana:
First time here. Saw good reviews for their Mofongo but we were very disappointed. It was VERY dry and lacked good flavor. This must have been made way in advance. We have had excellent Mofongo in Puerto Rico. Mofongo Churrasco $14.99...Mofongo Camaron Ajillo $15.99.. For these prices, I expect much better than what we were served. This was my first visit, and I had high hopes after reading positive reviews about their Mofongo. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. It was excessively dry and lacked flavor, which made me think it had been prepared well in advance. We've enjoyed excellent Mofongo in Puerto Rico, so our expectations were high. The Mofongo Churrasco was $14.99, and the Mofongo Camaron Ajillo was $15.99; for those prices, I anticipated a much better dish than what we received. The restaurant has a nice menu and was bustling at 7 PM on a Friday night, but they really need more staff. The two servers seemed overwhelmed, and I had to go to the register myself to get my check and make payment. While it’s a bit pricey, I’d be willing to give it another try.
