Pa' Donde Moncho - Pembroke Pines

Excellent service and delicious food! I was getting my car tinted next door and decided to peek in to see what they offered. I was warmly welcomed by the lovely Natalia. Although I was in Colombia, I wasn't very familiar with the cuisine. Natalia guided me through the menu, and we settled on a Calentado for breakfast and a blackberry (mora) smoothie. The portion was generous, and I highly recommend trying her house salsa—it really enhances the flavor. I can't wait to come back for dinner soon!

I had breakfast upstairs, which included a tortilla with an egg omelet and white cheese. It was good, but I felt it could have benefited from a larger quantity of ingredients in the eggs. They were barely noticeable, and the only flavor I could really taste was from the few green onions.

The ajiaco soup and blackberry juice are amazing! However, I had a frustrating experience with the service today. I called at 6:21 PM to confirm that my order would be ready for pickup, but their phone went straight to voicemail. When I arrived at 6:43 PM, I was told that they had already cleaned up for the evening and were no longer serving the juice and soup. I mentioned that I had tried to call multiple times on my way to the restaurant, and the staff said they weren’t receiving any calls. It felt like they were ready to close up rather than provide service. This isn't my first time placing a phone order for pickup here, so I was really surprised by how disappointing the service was today.

Great food, generous portions, unbeatable prices, good service . First-time a Colombian food eater. No disappointments. Will come back for sure.
