We ordered a Matjes roll for €7.40, hoping that the roll including the toppings and any decorations would be worth €7.40. What happened next disappointed us greatly. A roll came with a curled lettuce leaf and just two pieces of herring. When we politely asked, as we found it very rude, we received a somewhat annoyed answer. “But the herring is tender!” In all our years on the North Sea we didn't even get a herring that wasn't tender!!!! Don't fall for it and stay away from the store. There are plenty of other places on Pellworm that are worth stopping by.
