I ordered a Sour Patch Kids slush float but received something that was 95% ice cream and only 5% slush. Very disappointing. Perhaps the staff could use a clearer explanation of what a float actually is?
New to Sonic, I visited for the first time two weeks ago and everything was five stars. I decided to return today for the same meal but should have stuck with my first visit! The service was slow, the food was cold, and it wasn’t anything like before. Will we go back? Still undecided.
Just as we were about to place our order, lightning struck less than 100 feet from our car. Was it a sign? We decided to carry on and go ahead with our orders. To our surprise, we found out that we couldn't tip using our card, as Sonic only takes cash for gratuity. I'm not sure why that is, but it's probably not worth questioning. Luckily, we managed to scrounge up some cash and left a tip. We took our food home to escape the storm, which was just a short drive away. The food was fantastic, and I know I'll be back for another cheeseburger soon. If you're still reading this review about Sonic, I'm not sure why! But for those who are, now you know it’s definitely worth a visit for a classic drive-in experience and delicious food. Cheers!
I'm wondering why your dining area is closed on Thursdays at noon. I would rather not eat in my car, especially since I had two kids with me who would have liked a place to sit down for lunch. It's disappointing that the dining area was locked, and it makes me question whether the team is reluctant to maintain it properly. This experience doesn't reflect well on your business.
I had a very disappointing experience with the slush at this restaurant. I ordered a strawberry slush with extra fruit, but what I received was poorly mixed—mainly just white ice with a few small pieces of strawberry. When I brought it up to the carhop, he dismissed my concerns and simply suggested it might need better mixing before walking away. He didn’t even offer to replace it. I had to call inside and speak to someone I believe was the manager, who kindly got me another slush. This one was better mixed and at least looked red, but it still tasted very watered down and lacked flavor. I still didn’t get any extra fruit. This location really needs to work on their mixing; no one wants a slush that tastes like plain water!
