What John Koay doesn't like about Sid's Pub Plaza Damansara:
Service is terrible. Period. I understand that they are short of staff, but it is purely badly manage and no training to the staff. Came because of good reviews but sadly it was so disappointed. Staff failed to inform us that what we ordered were the same thing except one is bite seize and one is full portion. So we had the exact same food in different portion. Wow!!! Beers were good. Sid's is well-known for being welcoming to both children and pets. Many regular customers come in after work for a drink, or stop by on weekends for brunch. It's a great spot for both...
The dining experience and atmosphere were excellent. We enjoyed the burger and mussels, as well as the fish and chips. The sausage would have been improved if it was served with mashed potatoes instead of beans. Overall, a good meal.
Sids Pub is fantastic. The Guinness there is nearly as good as an authentic Irish pint. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious. I definitely need to go back.
This restaurant is a great spot to unwind and enjoy a pint. The fish and chips were delicious. Sid creates a warm atmosphere for all customers. Just be careful with his beer challenges, as they can leave you feeling tipsy. The pub has a friendly neighborhood feel and overall, it was a fantastic experience.
